Until October 30, OnLive is offering any game on their service for $1/£1 to new customers in the United States and UK. Notable recent games to hit the service that are eligible for this offer include Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Duke Nukem Forever, Orcs Must Die!, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, Tropico 4, and Red Faction: Armageddon. This offer doesn’t only apply to new customers, however, as they’ve also emailed previous customers a coupon code that shaves off 98% from the price of any game. The only hitch is that these discounts don’t extend to pre-orders, so don’t expect such a deep cut on Batman: Arkham City or Saint’s Row: The Third.

If you’re unfamiliar with OnLive, it’s a game streaming service that does all the heavy lifting in the cloud and pipes the video to your device (be it your computer or their proprietary MicroConsole). As such, it requires a fairly solid internet connection but also little to no video horsepower on your local machine. Luckily, OnLive offers 30 minute trials for most of their games so customers can test out the latency or see if video quality is acceptable.
