Gaikai partners with Facebook for streaming game demos

Streaming gaming solution like OnLive have been picking up steam over the past years. CES brought several announcements of integration with TVs and now streaming game demo company Gaikai has a big announcement of its own.

Gaikai’s David Perry revealed that the company has made a deal that will bring the straming game company’s catalog of game demos to Facebook. This follows recent partnerships with YouTube and Walmart.

Perry spoke to the traditional method of download and playing demos as overcomplicated. ”Zynga has figured out that you put the customer first, very aggressively. You click once and you get to play for free, you share it with your friends and then you pay Zynga if you love it. It’s as pro-consumer as you can get and that is why their valuation has skyrocketed,” said Perry.
