Diablo III release window revealed in investor call

While it’s clear that Diablo III didn’t release on February 1, fans are likely not any less eager to check out the final product. In the past Blizzard/Activision has committed to a launch window of “early 2012″ and now that window has been narrowed in an investor’s call. According to Rock Paper Shotgun, Blizzard president and cofounder Mike Morhaime promised a Q2 launch (April – June) with more details in the next few weeks. That puts plenty of room between the “November in February” launch period of other huge games, which is probably a good thing for the game’s ultimate success.
