Phantasy Star Online 2 heads West in early 2013

Phantasy Star Online 2 is currently in open beta in Japan, and it has garnered it’s share of acclaim and interest even in this early stage. Luckily, for those who have been awaiting word on a potential release outside of Japan, Sega has now confirmed that is in the works.

Sega announced today that Phantasy Star Online 2 is set to head to North America and Europe in “early 2013.” Phantasy Star Online 2 is an online action RPG sequel to 2001′s Dreamcast original slated to hit PC, PlayStation Vita, iOS, and Android.
