Dishonored gets star-studded voice cast

Bethesda has been pushing Dishonored pretty hard in the recent months, highlighting the game’s unique steampunk take on the action/stealth genre. Dishonored is now just a couple months away from release, and Bethesda has announced that it will feature a number of top Hollywood talent in various roles.

Here’s the lineup of announced actors and their roles:

  • Susan Sarandon (“Thelma & Louise,” “Dead Man Walking”) as Granny Rags
  • Brad Dourif (“The Lord of the Rings” trilogy, “One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest”) as inventor Piero
  • Carrie Fisher (original “Star Wars” trilogy) as government propaganista
  • John Slattery (“Mad Men”) as Admiral Havelock
  • Michael Madsen (“Thelma & Louise,” “Reservoir Dogs,” “Kill Bill”) as assassin Daud
  • Chloë Grace Moretz (“Kick-Ass,” “Hugo”) as Young Lady Emily
  • Lena Headey (“300,” “Game of Thrones”)

All in all, this seems like a pretty strong cast for what looks to be a fresh take on a well-trodden genre. Arkane Studios’ Dishonored is set to hit the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on October 9, 2012.
